ORPHAN WORKS BILL!

Currently the work we create for clients or for ourselves are copyrighted at the time of creation. However, there are some people in the government trying to push a bill through that would eliminate this protection and open ALL works that are not filed through a Copyright office (or Privately). Of course the bill is stating that if someone does a "reasonably diligent search." and find no one, the piece is consider an Orphan; which makes it fair game.

In other words, that photo you placed on facebook (or any other website) to share with your friends, could be seen later attached to a children's pornography website. This doesn't include only personal pieces (photos, etc), but any art that Jason Dupin Company would produce for you. Unless we sent it into the Copyright Office. Of course, that would TRIPLE or QUADRUPLE our rates. Unfortunately, that's the reality of the ORPHAN WORKS BILL.

Please contact your Congressman, Representatives and Senator to STOP THIS BILL.
